My love for travel was sparked by my parents. Every year, we took traditional trips—skiing in Northern Wisconsin, heading out West for white-water rafting and horseback riding, and occasionally getting up close (maybe too close) to the massive buffalo blocking the roads. And of course, I’ll never forget those magical road trips to Walt Disney World.

While my parents often traveled internationally, my brother and I explored the U.S. with them—and honestly, what a gift that was. There’s so much to see and do right here in the good ol’ USA!

But once I took my first trip abroad? That was it—I was hooked. From the rich cultures of Asia and the historic streets of Europe to the sun-drenched islands of the Southern Caribbean, I’ve been on a mission to see, taste, touch, and experience as much of the world as possible. I truly believe that hands-on exploration is one of the most powerful ways to learn, connect with history, and feel the stories of those who came before us.

And now, the real adventure begins! With our three kids now grown, my husband and I are ready to dust off our Indiana Jones hats and start planning some unforgettable journeys.
