With the recent increase in travel demand, now is the perfect time to start planning a fall getaway! Here are some exciting domestic destinations that you might want to consider!

Asheville, NC

Asheville's location along the Blue Ridge Parkway means incredible views of fall foliage that are hard to beat. Plan your visit between October and early November to see the peak of the autumn color change. Aside from taking in the incredible mountain views, you can also visit the famous Biltmore Estate, sample local craft beer at one of several breweries, or go on a zipline or whitewater rafting adventure!

Sedona, AZ

Fall is a great time to visit the increasingly popular destination of Sedona, Arizona. Numerous hiking trails are full of lovely fall colors that you can enjoy, along with the moderate temperatures and lower crowd levels you will find here at this time of year. If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, you can go on an off-road jeep excursion to explore the red rocks, or take in the stunning canyon vistas from a hot air balloon ride! You can also visit the Verde Valley Wine Trail to tour some of the area’s unique local wineries and sample a variety of skillfully crafted wines along the way.

Salem, MA

For a unique Halloween experience, consider a trek to the town of Salem, Massachusetts. With a history filled with stories of witches, ocean ships, settlers, pirates and more- Salem offers a little something for everyone. Local activities and nearby attractions include harbor tours, the Derby Wharf Light station, ghost tours, and of course- the Salem Witch Museum. If you visit during the month of October, be sure to check out the Haunted Happenings festival that features frightfully fun events the whole family will enjoy!

Orlando, FL

For those of you Halloween fanatics out there, you don’t want to miss Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights! Now in its 30th year, this ticketed celebration brings together extreme haunted houses, spooky scare zones, live entertainment and some of the park’s most exhilarating attractions. For some less scary Halloween fun that little ones might enjoy, you can head over to Walt Disney World. In addition to lots of extra Disney magic going on as part of the park’s 50th Anniversary this October, there will also be plenty of amazing Halloween decorations along with Disney’s After Hours Boo Bash event!
