What happens when the travel industry sends you a curveball. Where it seems like more and more people are wanting to explore the United States of America due to this existing pandemic and limitations to international travel. It entices us travel advisors, to go outside of the normal boundaries that were used to, and setting out on new Grand adventures that are outside of the box.

I know it seems cliché but when I started to Google people's interests and where they wanted to travel the New England territory popped up as the top five destinations of interest. So, I went on to buy a ticket, rented an SUV, packed my tent and sleeping bag; And set off to the Northeast of the United States of America. I flew into New York and drove 10 hours north up the coastline to an amazing campground on the ocean in the Acadia National Forest. I have never in my life seen such beautiful stars at night where I could just reach out and grab them out of the sky. During the day I would venture chasing lighthouses and feeling like I was on a movie set with the cedar shook houses and fisheries all over the place. Hiking was a must do as well as visiting all of the art galleries on and off all the little intricate islands that are up there.

Day three I drove south about two and a half three hours to Salem, Massachusetts where I took a full day of historical tours and even a ghost tour at night. To be honest with you I feel like this is definitely just a day trip or maybe a short weekend. Then I went on to Boston! This place I need to go back to. With all of the history you can walk to, touch, see, and taste; It's definitely my top five visited places to recommend. I have already informed my husband that we will be taking a long weekend this fall to see the changing colors and engross ourselves into this most wonderful city on the East Coast line. And then of course I drove down to Connecticut to visit some of my girlfriends. They took me to see the Rockefeller mansions in Rhode Island, And we had a fantastic cocktail while watching the sunset over the Bayside of the Atlantic.

It was a quick trip, And there is definitely a heck of a lot more to check out. I will be making my trip back so I can go to Vermont and explore more of the wildlife and history of our beautiful New England Territories.
